Delete your Madar account

Option 1 — in the app

An in-app option to delete your account is not available yet; it will be added in a future update. Until then, use option 2.

Option 2 — by email

1. Send an email from your account's registered address to adel.alobaidi@live.com.
2. Use the subject: “Delete my Madar account”.
3. We delete your account within 30 days of receiving your request, and reply by email once it is done.

The request must come from the registered address because that is how we confirm the account is yours — you sign in to Madar with a code sent to that address.

What is deleted

• Your account — your email address.
• Your game profile — your name, city, country, and avatar.
• Your steps — your daily steps and distances.
• Your game data — your teams, duels and their results, cheers, «سمائي» sky discoveries, badges, quests, and streaks.
• Your device tokens for notifications.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — you lose your progress, streaks, sky, and badges.

What remains, and why

• Your past contributions to the collective totals (your city's and country's distance toward the Moon) — they are part of a shared history for every player in your city and country, and cannot be removed without changing other players' results. They stay unattributed and are no longer linked to you.
• Routine backups at our hosting provider may contain your data for a limited time until they are overwritten. They are not used for anything else.
